Skip Ewing lives in much the way he sings and writes, with love, peace, and honesty. Skip says, "i was asked once what i most wanted to be remembered for, my singing or my writing. My answer was "Neither." What i want to be remembered for, if anything, is that i pursued the path of becoming the best person i could become, that i cultivated love, compassion, and understanding. If somewhere in there i made a difference with my actions, be it personal interaction, artistry, the written word, music or otherwise, then, as Emily Dickinson wrote, "I shall not live in vain."
