Skip Ewing Entertainment, and the CM Ranch are excited to announce a new era in songwriter education retreats with renowned singer/songwriter Skip Ewing. (Read Skip’s bio.)

Come spend an inspirational five days with a small group of other supportive kindred spirits in some of the most awe-inspiring natural beauty in the world. Under Skip’s guidance you’ll further develop your skills as a songwriter and widen your creative potential. You'll have opportunities to share and learn from your existing compositions, approach your future creations with renewed insight and skill, and be appreciated for the courageous journey you’re on -- a journey to share your heart, music, lyrics, and artistry with others.

After ten years of retreats (formerly Horse & Writer) and a wealth of participant feedback, we’ve been able to refine our program and curriculum to support the unique needs, aspirations, and creative paths of all who attend.

Come immerse yourself in a learning experience like none other with one of the most talented and approachable artists in the business. Skip Ewing has been called an American treasure, a songwriting master, an invaluable mentor, and a brilliant teacher by some of the industries most influential figures. Past participants have referred to his retreats as “life-changing,” “far beyond anything I imagined,” "Incredible," and “A treasure of knowledge and memories.”

Skip and his support team work hard to steward and cultivate the intimacy and attention necessary to provide an extraordinary and downright fun educational opportunity. In keeping with this aspiration, spaces are limited. We highly recommend early registration!

Tuition is $1998* and includes all songwriter educational opportunities with Skip, four nights and five days single occupancy accommodations, all meals (dinner day of arrival, breakfast day of departure), horseback riding (if you choose), and all of the free amenities traditionally offered by the CM Ranch. (Visit their website.)
